“@CardiffCityFC who ever is responsible for that new App should get a pay rise. It’s awesome, keep up the good work #bluebirds”
Simon Morgan (@simbomorgs) - via Twitter
“The App is going beyond matchday usage and is rapidly developing into a 24/7 benefit for all of our supporters”
Mark Ellis - Chief Operations Officer
“This is a really well executed app and something which I think has been needed for a while, as lots of people like to check scores on their phones”
J. Smith - Play Store
“Really like the live scores/tables design with the background images and large fonts. New Player HD news should mean this is a fantastic app for Seagulls fans”

I’ve been designing and building protocols for the Internet since 1988, and watching and playing sport almost since birth, and so providing solutions to allow connectivity within stadia and other arenas is a chance to bring dreams to reality.
I head up the team here at TribeHive. I am passionate about user research and that we make sure our products reach their full potential for the end users. I’ve been doing similar roles for 20 odd years on hugely varied projects all over the world and I still love it.
Chief Technology Officer
My role is to fully understand a problem and then implement a real world solution. I love software engineering and I built the enhanced connectivity features within TribeHive’s apps and I still get a buzz from seeing our technical solutions deployed in the field.
I take care of the design elements for all of TribeHive’s apps whilst working on integrating our apps with CRMs. I also work on our Android developments and DevOps and have recently completed a masters in IT with Business and Management.
I work on TribeHive’s analytics tools, as well as developing the iOS versions of our Apps. I came to TribeHive with a PhD in Theoretical Computer Science, giving me an enhanced insight into programming and a penchant for creating new technologies.
I am responsible for reporting back on how our apps are working for our customers and informing them of any updates. I help them to maximise the value the app adds to them and I am also responsible for turning on TribeHive’s connectivity technology.
I have extensive sports marketing experience and am currently talking to rights holders about how our app and connectivity solution can benefit their fans.
Lead Game Developer
I recently graduated with a first in Computer Science and am now the Lead Game Developer at TribeHive. I am designing the fan engagement platform, and in particular developing games and other resources which incorporate HiveCore. This enables fans to participate and collaborate with services and infrastructure (e.g. the big screen) in the stadium.
I have been working in systems design and operation with a mix of blue-chip companies, SMEs and start-ups since 1989; and combining this with computing and communications research since 1997. My main role in TribeHive is focussing on quality and reliability of products.
I’m a generalist programmer who enjoys all challenges to do with technology. I’ve got a BSc in Computer Science which I got from the University of Brighton and liked Brighton so much after I got it that I never left!
I am a developer from New Zealand with a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics. My main role at TribeHive is developing the backend Java APIs that provide powerful and complex processing for the iOS and Android apps to utilise.
I am currently on a sabbatical having a great time travelling the world.
Being a mole I’m afraid I have to keep my role underground.
